Herman Lindsey was sent to Florida’s death row in 2006 for the robbery and murder of Ft. Lauderdale pawnshop owner, Joanne Mazzola, in 1994. Herman was exonerated in 2009 after spending 3 years on death row. He currently resides in Florida where he works with at-risk youth. Herman is on the Board of Witness to Innocence and also speaks across the U.S. and internationally.

Actress Shinnerrie Jackson

Shinnerrie is a veteran of regional theatre, having performed at The Pittsburgh Public Theatre, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, the Cape Cod Center for the Arts, the San Jose (CA) Repertory Theatre and the Arena Stage in Cleveland. Shinnerrie has an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Tennessee and a B. M. in Vocal Performance from Oberlin Conservatory. She is a long-time affiliate artist of The Core Ensemble and will be performing with the ensemble in “Champions of Voting Rights” at St. Andrew’s on Sunday, January 19th as part of the City of Lake Worth MLK Jr. Celebration Weekend.


Shinnerrie will speak to Integrity about the upcoming show, and offer background on the inspirational figures she will portray.
